DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATION

NANOPOL PLUS UNIVERSAL putty is intended for standard substrates, including cast iron, aluminum and fiberglass. Represents putty of average size, gives in to polishing well, is suitable as filling putty of universal application.

ENVIRONMENT

Putty is not allowed to be used for filling of places in contact with foodstuff and drinking water.

APPLICATION

The putty surface needs to be cleared of a rust, old paint and varnish coverings, the given place carefully to degrease, if necessary to give it roughness, having applied a grinding skin: - P40 - for steel, fiberglass - P60 - for light metals - P60 - for initial paints, having polished a surface to bare metal

CURE

The putty is cured with a hardener (PE initiator, benzoyl peroxide, red paste in a tube) in the ratio by weight: - 100 parts of putty: 2 parts of hardener - the recommended ratio for a temperature of 20 °C

VIABILITY

At a temperature of 20 ° C and a curing ratio of 100: 2, the putty must be treated within 5 minutes after mixing with the hardener. At temperatures below 20 ° C (17 ° C minimum) the shelf life becomes longer, at higher temperatures it decreases. By selecting the appropriate removal ratio, it is possible to partially eliminate the effect of temperature on viability. Curing ratio: - not less than 100: 1 - the service life is extended - no more than 100: 3 - the service life is reduced

GRINDING

At a temperature of 20 ° C and a curing ratio of 100: 2, the putty is able to be sanded in 20-30 minutes. Dry sanding begins with the use of sanding sand P150 and ends with sanding P180 on P220. Wet sanding begins with sanding P150 and ends with sanding P180 to P240.

COLORING

It is possible to apply all traditional paint and varnish systems on the surface of putty. The putty is resistant to standard hot drying temperatures in the range of 80-110 °C. In case of need of putting putty on anticorrosive primers with the subsequent hot drying of enamel we recommend to apply primer paint of hot drying, or a two-component epoxy primer. We do not recommend the use of synthetic air-drying paints for putty followed by kiln drying. STORAGE AND PACKAGING

For storage and transportation it is necessary to provide temperature from +5 on + 25 ° C and to avoid direct solar radiation. Weak appearance of resin on the surface of the putty is allowed. The shelf life of the appropriate quality and useful properties is 12 months.

Nanopol + Carbon has a high content of carbon fiber, which makes it possible to create a very durable, carbon-fiber-reinforced putty layer, which is ground as needed.

WEDNESDAY
Putty is not allowed to be used for puttying in contact with food and drinking water.

APPLICATION
The putty surface must be cleaned of rust, old paint and varnish coatings, this place must be thoroughly degreased, if necessary, roughened by applying a sandpaper:

Curing

VIABILITY

GRINDING
At a temperature of 20 ° C and a curing ratio of 100: 2, the putty is capable of grinding after 20 to 30 minutes. Grinding is recommended to be carried out using a sanding cloth P60 according to P120 and using a rotating or rotary-orbital sander.

PAINT
It is possible to apply all traditional paint systems to the surface of the putty. Putty is resistant to standard temperatures of hot drying in the range of 80-110 ° C. CAUSING:

MIXTURE:
